Salem requires bicyclists to ride as near the right-hand side of a two-way street as practicable, or in the curb lane's direction of travel on a one-way street, under Salem Revised Code section 101.110. The same code separately makes it unlawful under SRC 76.010 to block a bike lane with barricades, building material, or merchandise without first getting the Public Works Director's written permission.
