Obstruction Rules
Schaumburg bans using any public street, parkway, sidewalk or right-of-way to store personal property, merchandise or anything that blocks passage. Section 93.02 lets the police chief order removal of anything obstructing a public way, and owners who ignore the notice face fines under the Village's general penalty. Nothing may sit in the public way longer than it takes to move it onto private property.
