Tenant Complaint Process
In the Town of Union outside the Villages of Endicott and Johnson City, the Code Enforcement Officer can inspect any dwelling unit on receipt of a written statement alleging Uniform Code or Energy Code violations. Complaints are then reviewed and investigated under Section 86-12, with notice to the owner and a chance to correct the violation.
