Solicitor Permits
Unincorporated Allegany County requires a license before anyone sells or solicits orders door to door under Chapter 342, Hawkers and Peddlers, with narrow exceptions for farmers, minors and specific vendors. County Code § 342-5 also limits canvassing and soliciting to the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
