Park Drone Restrictions
In Calvert County outside Chesapeake Beach and North Beach, flying a drone in a county park is illegal without written permission first. Calvert County Code § 82-2-101A(26) bars operating a "motorized unmanned aircraft" within or above any Department of Parks and Recreation property unless the Director issues express written authorization, and violators can be cited under the chapter's penalty section.
