Barking Dogs
In Calvert County outside Chesapeake Beach and North Beach, owners cannot let a dog or other animal make disturbing noises, including continued howling, barking, whining or crowing, that disturbs a neighbor's quiet and comfort. Animal Services enforces the rule as a Class A violation with escalating fines and a discretionary warning for a first offense.
