Chatham County requires a building permit before constructing a residential pool in the unincorporated area, built to the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code adopted under section 20-201(8). The fee for each pool is set through the County Revenue ordinance under section 20-313, and the standard 180-day expiration and inspection rules apply.
