Park Curfew

Citrus County closes its parks and recreational facilities each night at 9:30 p.m. unless a different time is posted for a specific park. No one may enter or stay in a county park after closing until sunrise the next day, and the county can shut a park entirely during an emergency.

Citrus County Code § 74-41(a)

No person shall enter or remain in any park or recreational facility during closed hours which shall be set for each park or recreational facility by the board. Unless otherwise posted by signs authorized by the board, closing hours are hereby defined as from 9:30 p.m. until sunrise the following day.
