Agricultural Zoning Protection
Coweta County's RC Rural Conservation District exists specifically to protect agricultural land use alongside low-density housing. Sec. 72 of the Zoning and Development Ordinance permits commercial forestry, agriculture, dairy, and poultry or livestock raising by right on 20-plus-acre parcels, provided animal and storage buildings sit at least 200 feet from every property line.
