Pool Permits
Coweta County requires a building permit before installing an in-ground or above-ground swimming pool. Item 101.3.10 applies the state-adopted International Swimming Pool and Spa Code to every pool, spa, or hot tub installation, and Item 104.1.1 exempts only prefabricated pools that fall outside the ISPSC's own definition of a swimming pool. The county charges a $300.00 residential pool permit fee under Sec. 14-2.
