Coweta County runs no county curbside route. Unincorporated residents either subscribe to a county-licensed private hauler for weekly curb pickup, or self-haul household garbage to a county compactor site using official Coweta County bags.

Licensee shall provide weekly curb service collection of residential waste packaged as approved pursuant to this article, except as otherwise set out herein. Each licensee shall set uniform collection fees for services provided to all citizens in Coweta County.
For homes on a licensed hauler's route, Coweta County code sets when cans go out and where they are stored. Refuse cannot be placed at the road before noon the day before collection, and containers must be returned promptly.
