Fayetteville Code Sec. 22-10(D)

For the Collection of Household Waste, the owner or occupant of each Unit shall place all Household Waste in up to two (2) approved Rollout Carts and place such Rollout Carts within one foot of the Curbside or edge of the pavement on the day scheduled for Collection prior to 6:00 a.m.

Fayetteville Code Sec. 22-10(F)

Rollout Carts shall be removed from the Curbside the day that they are serviced and shall not be stored in front of a dwelling or commercial establishment, or otherwise in front of the building, closest to the street.

Fayetteville Code Sec. 22-10(L)(1)

Each Compliant Bulk Waste load cannot contain more than five (5) items. Requests for the Collection of more than five (5) items will be subject to a service fee in accordance with the current Solid Waste Fee Schedule. Payment must be made in advance of having the service provided.

The Solid Waste Division will supply one (1) blue, 96-gallon Rollout Cart to provide the user with the ability to store Recyclables for a bi-weekly Collection service at the Curbside. The Recyclables Rollout Cart shall be set out before 6:00 a.m. on the scheduled day of pickup.

Any person, firm or corporation that is found to have dumped, left or disposed of in any manner... upon the property of another, without the consent of that property owner or other persons in lawful control of the property, shall be subject to a civil penalty of $500.00 and shall be responsible for the City's cost of removal of such items.

Cumberland County Code Sec. 12-15(3)(c)

It shall be unlawful to place grass clippings, leaves, tree and shrub clippings, or any other yard wastes in any storm drain, stream, stormwater conveyance, or any other location in the county where concentrated stormwater flows will wash such wastes into the municipal separate storm sewer system.

Cumberland County Subdivision Regulations (Appendix B) § 3.21(l)

All dumpsters and utility areas shall be screened. Dumpster sites shall be located on concrete slabs and be fenced around three (3) sides, minimum. Chainlink fencing may be utilized, but it must be accompanied with an evergreen screen as in Section XIV, Landscape Ordinance, of the County Zoning Ordinance.

Cumberland County Code Sec. 11-31

Only the solid waste collection services and facilities hereinafter specified are authorized to be provided and used for the collection of solid waste generated on or within premises subject to this article. The provision or use of collection services not authorized herein is a violation of this chapter. This article is applicable to the collection of designated solid waste.
