El Dorado County Code Section 130.40.220(E) lets residents hold garage sales by right, but caps single-unit homes at four sales a year, each running up to three days and no more than 12 total sale-days annually at the same address. Multi-unit properties get two sales per year per legal unit, and only household goods the resident actually owns can be sold.
