Growing marijuana at home is illegal everywhere in Indiana, including Elkhart County. Indiana has no medical or recreational marijuana program. Cultivating plants is prosecuted as possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor at minimum under IC 35-48-4-11, rising with prior convictions.
