Pool Permits

In unincorporated Flagler County, a spa, hot tub or swimming pool deeper than twenty-four inches falls outside the general finished-product installation exemption, so it must be built by a licensed contractor under a county building permit. The Land Development Code then requires every pool to meet Florida Building Code Sec. 424.2.17 and its own side, rear and front yard setbacks.
