Park Event Permits

A tournament or assembly of more than 100 persons in a Grant County park needs a permit from the Grant County Park Commission, and so does exclusive use of a picnic or play area. Under Grant County Code § 200-13 the application goes to the County Clerk at least 10 days ahead, and the Commission decides within five days.

Chapter 97 of the Grant County Code requires a County Clerk license for any assembly of 2,000 or more people that continues overnight or for 18 or more consecutive hours. The license costs $100 for each calendar day and location, applications are due at least 10 days ahead, and violations carry a forfeiture of $1,000 to $10,000.
