Auto Repair on Residential Property

Running an auto repair business out of a residential property in unincorporated Grays Harbor County requires a conditional use permit, not a home occupation registration. County Code § 17.36.030(K) allows motorcycle, ATV, automobile, light-duty truck, boat, motor home and RV repair in the R-3 Resort Residential District only on a lot of at least one acre with no frontage on a private lane, and it excludes heavy trucks.
