Grays Harbor County's fire code requires every mobile food preparation vehicle operating in the unincorporated county to hold a valid Mobile Food Preparation Vehicle Permit issued by an approved agency. The county deleted its general operational-permit list of dozens of fire code categories but kept and rewrote this one requirement, and the planning and building division enforces it under the direction of the fire marshal.
