Unincorporated Greene County allows medical marijuana dispensaries only in C-1, C-2, C-3, M-1 and M-2 zones, with 1,000-foot school/daycare/church buffers and 200-foot residential buffers -- Springfield, Republic and other cities enforce their own separate codes.

No Medical Marijuana Facility shall be located closer than one thousand 1000 feet from any thenexisting elementary or secondary school, child daycare center, or church. No Medical Marijuana Facility shall be located closer than two hundred (200) feet from any Residential District or one hundred (100) feet from any dwelling unit, unless that dwelling unit is on the same parcel as the proposed use.
