Flood Elevation

New construction and substantial improvements in Harnett County's mapped flood zones must elevate the reference level to the base flood elevation plus two feet of freeboard, or two feet above the highest adjacent grade where no BFE has been set, under § 153.248 and the § 153.024 definition of regulatory flood protection elevation.
