Park Curfew
Section 7-4(k) of the Highlands County Code closes county parks from sunset to sunrise unless the Board of County Commissioners posts different hours. Only park personnel, law enforcement and people launching or trailering a boat may be in a park after dark, and violators face up to a $500 fine or 60 days in jail.
