Structure Height Limits

Hillsborough County fixes maximum structure height district by district in the Schedule of Area, Height, Bulk, and Placement Regulations in Land Development Code Sec. 6.01.01. Agricultural districts stop at 50 feet, the single-family and duplex residential districts at 35 feet, and the office, commercial and industrial districts run from 35 feet up to 110 feet in the M district. Tall structures in many districts must also be set back an extra two feet for every foot over 20.
