Bike Lane Rules
Hillsborough County bans stopping, standing or parking a vehicle on a bicycle path, and bans standing or parking in an exclusive bicycle lane, anywhere in the unincorporated county under Sec. 50-110. The bicycle-lane ban allows a momentary stop to pick up or drop off a passenger; the bicycle-path ban does not. Violators receive a civil parking ticket carrying a penalty of up to $100 plus court costs under Sec. 50-116(c).
