Park Curfew

Howard County park property is open to the public every day from sunrise to sunset. Being in a park between sunset and sunrise is prohibited under Howard County Code Section 19.204, except for permitted activities, county and law-enforcement personnel, and permit holders.

Howard County Code § 19.204 (Hours of operation)

Park property shall be open to the public every day from sunrise to sunset... A person shall not be on park property between sunset and sunrise, except for: (1) Law enforcement personnel in the performance of their duties; (2) Department personnel in the performance of their duties;... or (4) Persons authorized by permit pursuant to section 19.205 of this subtitle.
