Unincorporated Kendall County enforces substandard-building and blight conditions through the 2024 International Property Maintenance Code, adopted with local amendments at Kendall County Code § 8-64. Violations are ordinance violations fined $50 to $1,000, with each day a violation continues after notice a separate offense; owners can appeal Building Officer decisions to the Planning, Building and Zoning Committee.
