In unincorporated Manatee County, political signs may be up to 6 square feet in residential districts (32 square feet elsewhere) and up to 10 feet tall. In non-residential districts they must sit 5 feet from the property line. Signs must be removed within 30 days after the election.

The maximum height of political signs is ten (10) feet; ... The maximum sign area in residential districts for political signs is six (6) square feet; [in] all other districts thirty-two (32) square feet; ... Political signs ... shall be removed within thirty (30) days after the election or a referendum issue has been decided.
