Dog Leash Laws
In Muskegon County parks, dogs must stay on a physical leash six feet or less and under the immediate control of a competent handler who cleans up waste immediately. Dogs are barred outright from beaches and buildings posted to prohibit them, with exceptions for disability service dogs and on-duty police K9s.
