Park Drone Restrictions
Rock County bans operating an unmanned aerial vehicle, or drone, in any county park without the Parks Manager's written consent, under Sec. 5.02(17)(I). The same rule also requires written consent for hang gliding, parasailing, hot air ballooning, land sailing, model airplanes and sky diving in parks.

No person may operate an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), also known as a drone, without the written consent of the Manager. Other flying related activities, including but not limited to, hang gliding, parasailing, hot air ballooning, land sailing, flying model airplanes, or sky diving is prohibited in all parks without the written consent of the Manager.
