Encampment Sanitation
Rock County bans overnight sleeping, camping or lodging on any park, recreational trail or other county property under Sec. 5.02(25). Camping gear such as campers, tents or generators cannot be used there either without the Parks Manager's express written consent, and violators face forfeiture penalties under the chapter's enforcement section.

No person shall use a recreational trail, park, or other County property subject to this Ordinance for overnight sleeping, camping, or lodging. Further, the use of equipment typically associated with overnight camping or lodging, including but not limited to, campers, tents, or generators is prohibited without the express written consent of the Manager.
