Park Event Permits

Holding an organized gathering, tournament, or private event in a Seminole County park or Natural Lands site requires a Special Authorization Permit from the Leisure Services Department Director. The permit is discretionary: staff must find the event consistent with the park's management plan and legislative intent before signing off. Any use beyond routine, day-to-day park access needs this written approval under Seminole County Code Sec. 190.82.

Parade Permits

Under Sec. 250.60, no parade, procession or special event such as a block party or road race may occupy or proceed along a Seminole County street without a permit from the Board of County Commissioners. Applicants apply through the Office of the Traffic Engineer, which can charge a fee and revoke a permit for false statements.
