Stanislaus County adopts the 2025 California Green Building Standards Code by reference under Section 16.80.010, making CALGreen's mandatory measures part of the county's building requirements for new construction in the unincorporated area. Stanislaus County Code § 16.80.010

Except as hereafter changed or modified, the 2025 California Green Building Standards Code is adopted by reference and incorporated in this chapter as if fully set forth herein, and shall be referred to as the California Green Building Standards Code of the county. A copy of said code shall be kept and maintained by the building official for use and examination by the public.

Building Permits
