Surry County bars adult live entertainment businesses anywhere in unincorporated Surry County unless the act is fully enclosed at least 2,000 feet from a school, church, park, day care, nursing home, hotel, cemetery, library, residential subdivision or residential zoning district. Buildings must also sit 100 feet from a public road and 50 feet from side or rear property lines, screened by a 7-foot fence.
