Walton County's Town Center District (TC) is the closest thing the unincorporated area has to a downtown design code. Land Development Ordinance Section 4-1-220 requires buildings to face the street rather than parking lots, sets minimum street-facing facade heights, and mandates pedestrian features like awnings, canopies, or recessed entries on any building fronting a Town Center sidewalk.
