Walton County's Land Development Ordinance requires new bicycle lanes to be at least four feet wide, placed between the outer travel lane and the curb or shoulder, and shifted between the parking lane and moving traffic when on-street parking is allowed. All bikeways need Planning and Development Department pre-approval.
