Public Alcohol Use
Opening or drinking alcohol in a Yakima County park, or on Yakima Greenway Foundation property in the unincorporated county, is banned outright under Code Section 11.04.510 unless the parks director and the county sheriff approve it in advance and it meets Washington State Liquor Control Board rules. A state banquet permit is separately required for any approved alcohol service.
