Yakima County's Property Maintenance Code requires every structure and exterior property to stay free of rodent harborage and infestation. Once rodents show up, the owner must exterminate them through an approved method that won't harm human health, then rodent-proof the property, including sealing foundation cracks, to stop reinfestation.
