Brentwood Municipal Code Chapter 9.16 (or the equivalent juvenile curfew chapter) prohibits minors under 18 years of age from remaining in any public place or business establishment in Brentwood between the hours of 10 PM and 5 AM Sunday through Thursday and 11 PM and 5 AM Friday and Saturday, consistent with the model California municipal curfew upheld by the Ninth Circuit in Nunez v. Police officers exercise discretion and will contact a parent to pick up a minor before issuing a citation in most cases.
