Sahuarita, AZ Curfew Laws: Juvenile Curfew (2026)

The Sahuarita Town Code establishes a juvenile curfew that prohibits minors under the age of 18 from being in public places, streets, parks, or commercial establishments during curfew hours without a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult. Curfew hours typically run from 10 PM to 5 AM on school nights (Sunday through Thursday) and from midnight to 5 AM on non-school nights (Friday and Saturday). Exceptions exist for minors who are traveling to or from a lawful employment activity, attending a supervised school or religious event, responding to an emergency, or exercising First Amendment rights such as attending a lawful assembly. A minor accompanied by a parent or guardian is exempt at all hours. The Sahuarita Police Department enforces the curfew through patrol contact, and officers who encounter a minor in violation will attempt to contact the parent or guardian to arrange pickup.
