Code of Ordinances Sec. " The director of the Division of Parks and Recreation sets hours for each of the Urban County Government's dedicated parks and parkways under the section's opening grant of authority, and can vary them park by park based on the "nature, design and intended use of the park," its location and size, and the likelihood of disturbing adjacent residents. Because hours are set administratively rather than fixed in the ordinance text, the operative closing time is whatever the director has posted for a given park, and being present after that posted time is itself the violation, with no additional act like vandalism or a trespass warning required to trigger it.

The same subsection (c) bundles the after-hours clause with two dozen other no-person-shall provisions covering alcohol, open fires, firearms, vehicles and pool-area conduct, all enforced together and all carrying the identical penalty. Officers and park staff cite directly to Sec. 14-62(c)(21) rather than a separate curfew chapter, and a vehicle left in a closed park is separately declared a public nuisance under the same section.
