Eastvale Municipal Code Section 8.52.040 makes it unlawful to create sound on one property that pushes the exterior level on another occupied property past Table 1. The limits run by general plan land use: all residential designations 55 dB Lmax from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 45 dB from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; commercial 65/55; business park 65/45; light industrial 75/55; heavy industrial 75 around the clock. Eastvale measures maximum sound level, not a one-hour average, so a single loud event breaches the standard. Section 8.52.020(12) then exempts heating and air conditioning equipment outright - the same carve-out found in Riverside County Ordinance 847 and in Temecula, Menifee, and Jurupa Valley. Generators, chillers, and switchgear stay covered.
One or two violations within 180 days is an infraction; more is a misdemeanor. Minimum fines run $500, then $750, then $1,000 or up to six months in county jail.
