A complaint may also be filed in Circuit Court; a conviction carries a fine up to the maximum set in Section 1-21 of the Municipal Code, with each day of continuing violation counted as a separate offense under Section 29.5-2.21. The City Attorney may additionally seek an injunction to halt or remove the unlawful structure.
