As part of the Incremental Code Update, Lodi increased the maximum fence height from 6 feet to 7 feet along residential side and rear property lines. Previously, fences between 6 and 7 feet required discretionary review. The update eliminated this requirement. Front yard fences are subject to lower height limits per the Development Code. Fence height within the visibility triangle at intersections must meet Public Works standards to maintain sight lines for traffic safety.
