The City of Isleton itself is a Local Responsibility Area and is not currently mapped within a VHFHSZ. However, the unincorporated Delta parcels just outside city limits fall within CAL FIRE SRA, and owners there must clear flammable vegetation 100 feet around structures. Even within Isleton, Sac Metro Fire inspects for nuisance dry grass and may order weed abatement under H&S Code 14875. The combination of dry tules, Delta grasslands, and wood-frame historic structures makes vegetation management important.
