Kissimmee calls food trucks and vending booths "itinerant food vendors," and Land Development Code § 14-6-8 authorizes them only in the B-3, HC and IB zoning districts, subject to a detailed operating-requirements list in subsection A. 3: "any itinerant food vendor shall obtain a city business tax receipt (BTR) prior to operating, which shall be renewed annually," and separately "the county/state health department must license any vending booths and itinerant food vending operations preparing and selling food items," with "all applicable codes of the health department" also required to be met.
