On unincorporated county roads, Osceola County allows brief stopping to load or unload, but you can't park within 50 feet of a railroad crossing, in front of a driveway, within 15 feet of a hydrant, or where official signs prohibit it. Dual-wheel commercial vehicles may only stop to load.
Osceola County Code Chapter 22, Article II governs stopping and loading on county roads. Section 22-39(4) prohibits parking within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing and at any place where official signs or traffic-control devices prohibit parking, except temporarily while actually loading or unloading. Section 22-39(2) allows only a momentary stop to pick up or discharge passengers in front of a driveway, and § 22-39(3) lets dual-rear-wheel vehicles stop on streets and rights-of-way only while actively loading. Posted commercial loading zones and time limits are enforceable. There is no separate loading-zone chapter — all rules live in Chapter 22, Article II.
Illegal stopping or blocking is enforced by the Sheriff and code enforcement; vehicles may be towed under § 22-1, and posted zones allow removal. Civil citations start at $250 under Chapter 7.
