Kissimmee, FL Parking Rules: Driveway Rules (2026)

City Code § 42-44 bars parking, displaying, or storing any vehicle on grass or other unpaved ground in the front or side yard of a residential lot, or on vacant residential land. A companion section, § 42-45, allows up to two vehicles on the grass directly alongside a paved driveway, split between the front and side yard, kept at least one foot from the property line. No more than 40 percent of a residentially zoned lot's front and side yards may be covered in pavers, concrete, or similar hardscape for vehicle parking under § 42-48, and parking on the unpaved right-of-way strip between sidewalk and curb is barred outright.
