It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a food establishment without first obtaining a permit from the Health Director. The operation of a food establishment without the required permit is hereby declared a nuisance which may be abated as provided by law. The permit holder shall conspicuously post or display the permit so that it is readily open to view by any person patronizing such establishment.
b. Mobile food establishments holding a valid food establishment permit from another political subdivision within the State of Nebraska who is a party to the Reciprocity Agreement for the Permitting and Operation of Mobile Food Establishments within the State of Nebraska may operate up to 30 calendar days per year within the City without obtaining a food establishment permit from the Health Director. The Health Director may request or obtain permits, reports, or other needed documentation from the mobile food establishment operator, or other political subdivision(s) for verification.
