Vendor's trucks may not vend on any street in Lincoln's B-3 or B-4 zoning districts unless the Director of Urban Development has designated that spot as a Vendor's Truck Operating Location or the city otherwise authorizes it. Reservations for a designated location require a request to Urban Development at least two business days ahead plus a ten dollar meter-hooding fee. Vending is also barred from any yard or adjacent alley in residentially zoned districts, between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. there, within 150 feet of school grounds during session, and within 300 feet of an existing restaurant without that business's written permission.
