Victoria, TX Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: Food Truck Permits (2026)

City Code Sec. 14-59 makes it an offense to operate as a Mobile Food Vendor without a currently valid permit issued by the City Fire Marshal. Operators apply per vehicle, must submit a Victoria County Health Department permit and a satisfactory Fire Marshal inspection report each dated within three months of application, and pay a $100 fee (per the Chapter 24 fee schedule). Permits expire December 31 each year and must be renewed with all prerequisites resubmitted to take effect January 1. Sec. 14-60 then governs where and how a permitted truck can operate: for example, no operating within 25 feet of a single-family lot, no parking off pavement, and restroom access required after two hours at a fixed location.
