Maricopa County, AZ Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: Sidewalk & Mobile Vending (2026)

Maricopa County Environmental Services permits pushcart and stand vendors dispensing prepackaged food or non-TCS beverages as Mobile Food Type I establishments under the Environmental Health Code. The permit attaches to the specific vehicle or receptacle carrying the products, and if a vendor sets up away from that vehicle, at a stand or booth on a sidewalk or lot, county rules require a permanent business-name sign at least 6 inches high, the original permit card on display, an approved hand-washing station whenever open food or beverage items are sold, and the permitted vehicle kept on the premises. A commissary agreement is also required.
